Dyscalculia training – Judy Hornigold

Judy offers a range of accredited dyscalculia courses to enable you to become a dyscalculia assessor, a dyscalculia specialist teacher, or just to find out more about dyscalculia and how to support learners. All courses are accredited by OCN Credit 4 Learning and run through SPLD Solutions Ltd and the Dyscalculia Association. The level 7 and 5 courses are accredited by the British Dyslexia Association (BDA).The courses will be delivered by online instruction, with live sessions and ongoing support from Judy, the lead tutor.

The course content has been designed so students will have the option to follow Level 3, Level 5 or Level 7 courses.

Students who have undertaken the Level 3 course will be able to “top up” to the Level 5 course by paying the difference between the two course fees.

Students who have undertaken the Level 5 course will be able to “top up” to the Level 7 course by paying the difference between the two course fees.

The Level 3 comprises completing 2 modules and students will have 6 months to complete the course.

The Level 5 comprises completing 3 modules and students will have 1 year to complete the course.

The Level 7 comprises completing 4 modules ( 3 for students who have completed level 5) and will have 2 years ( 18 months) to complete the course

On completion students can apply for Approved Practictioner Status

Level 7 Screening, Support , Intevrention and Diagnostic Assessment : BDA Accredited

Online learning cost : £2990

Start date February 2026, May 2026, September 2026

On completion students can apply for APC and AMBDA Dyscalculia.
